Abstract

El presente trabajo se desarrolla en el contexto comunitario del municipio Imías. Su objetivo radica en determinar la influencia de las familias monoparentales en el desarrollo psicosocial de los niños en edad escolar. Se realiza un estudio con la metodología triangulada, la cual ofrece la posibilidad de utilizar métodos y técnicas de las dos perspectivas metodológicas: cuantitativa, cualitativa. Se aborda la temática con un enfoque interdisciplinario; haciendo un análisis de coincidencias y divergencias entre las Teorías Especiales de la Sociología: Familia, Educación y Grupos de Edades; así como se toma como referencia el Estructural – Funcionalismo, como teoría general para poder comprender mejor esta problemática.
