Abstract

Nuestro país es fértil en cuanto a diversidad de frutas se trata, pero algunas no han sido netamente industrializadas debido a su poco conocimiento, entre ellas tenemos el Arazá originaria de la Amazonía ecuatoriana, es una planta que pertenece a la familia de las mirtáceas (plantas tropicales) cuyo fruto tiene un aroma y sabor peculiar y más que todo posee un gran contenido en proteínas y vitaminas. Es por ello que en el presente trabajo de investigación, surge la necesidad de dar a conocer los beneficios, los usos, la capacidad de comercialización de esta fruta y así también las herramientas con las que cuenta el Ecuador para la comercialización de esta fruta no tradicional y así poder determinar si es factible o no su producción.
