La gestión turística del patrimonio cultural en Holguín, Cuba. Retos para una investigación futura

Abstract

El trabajo presenta un análisis sobre el estado actual de la gestión turística del patrimonio cultural en Holguín, región oriental de la República de Cuba, evidenciando las carencias teórico – prácticas ante el reclamo de diversificar la oferta turística. Se ha podido comprobar la existencia de riqueza patrimonial susceptible de ser puesta en valor con fines turísticos; no obstante aún es insuficiente las acciones realizadas en este sentido. Como consecuencia se presenta una propuesta de líneas de acciones que implican obtener resultados concretos en lo conceptual y metodológico lo que constituye un reto para la mejora de la gestión turística del patrimonio cultural en Holguín.
