Los consumos desde la sociología. Acercamientos conceptuales

Abstract

Las investigaciones sobre consumos se han multiplicado al punto de que hoy se advierten diferentes perspectivas de análisis que reproducen la compartimentación y fragmentación desde las ciencias sociales. Conocemos de teorías económicas, psicosociales y antropológicas sobre los consumos; teorías literarias y de la comunicación que abordan estos procesos desde los estudios de audiencias; así como teorías socioculturales que enfatizan los consumos desde la significación. Los autores de este presente trabajo realizan una sistematización sociológica del consumo desde el proceso de reproducción social para connotar dos perspectivas de análisis: el consumo como estratificación social y el consumo como estilo de vida.
