Jobabo: huellas del tiempo y patrimonio en el centenario de su fundación

Abstract

Este trabajo recoge en síntesis la historia de los antecedentes, fundación y evolución histórica de Jobabo y el surgimiento de la localidad, así como el proceso de urbanización y formación de una cultura y signos de una identidad propia. A través de una indagación histórica basada en la revisión de fuentes documentales de archivos, registros, testimonios y bibliografías diversas se realizó una reconstrucción del proceso a la luz de la ciencia histórica que nos permitió aportar elementos nuevos sobre la fecha fundacional y enriquecer la historia local.
