Portal web para la comunicación de la información científica referente al café y el cacao

Abstract

En Cuba una de las principales áreas de investigación y de mayores avances y logros es la ciencia agropecuaria, por lo que existen universidades, centros e instituciones que están vinculados al desarrollo investigativo en diferentes temáticas de esta ciencia como la producción de café y cacao, entre los que se encuentran: la Universidad Agrónoma de la Habana, la José Martí Pérez de Sancti Spíritus, la Universidad Central de Villa Clara, Pinar del Río, Matanzas, Camagüey, las Tunas y Guantánamo, la Estación de Café y Cacao de Baracoa, la Estación Central de Investigaciones de Café y Cacao de III frente, la Estación de Café y Cacao Jorge Dimitrov de Bayamo, la Estación de Café de Jibacoa y el Centro de Desarrollo de la Montaña de Guantánamo. En estos centros se genera un volumen de información cada vez mayor, sin embargo el acceso de los estudiantes, profesionales, investigadores, y productores a esta información científica resulta difícil, además de que la prestación de servicios de asesorías, consultorías y tutorías en este campo es poca, ya que no existe una vía que les permita acceder a todo este conjunto de información y servicios de una forma rápida, eficiente y confiable. Se propone la solución de este problema a través de la implementación de un Portal Web, que sistematice y actualice estas informaciones, de una forma rápida, eficiente y confiable.
