La gestión pública del desarrollo local: apuntes sobre el caso de Cuba

Abstract

En el marco del proceso de actualización del modelo económico cubano se evidencia una voluntad política de otorgar mayor responsabilidad y autoridad a los gobiernos locales en el aprovechamiento de sus recursos endógenos, a partir de un riguroso proceso de planificación de los recursos humanos, económicos y financieros que potencien el desarrollo local. El trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar las regularidades que rigen el proceso de gestión del desarrollo local en Cuba, a partir de las especificidades que lo identifican del resto de las concepciones que asumen otros países del mundo.
