La gestión de riesgos de auditoría: una fórmula de calidad y efectividad para los auditores del sistema cubano de auditoría

Abstract

La gestión de los riesgos del auditor en las auditorías constituye una necesidad primordial para darle cumplimiento a lo estipulado en las normas cubanas para auditores, donde en sus normas 400-699 se plantea la identificación y evaluación de riesgos. El presente artículo pretende valorar el estado actual que presenta la aplicación de esta normativa en el sistema de auditoría en Cuba y la propuesta de un procedimiento de gestión del riesgo de auditoría para los auditores del Sistema de Auditoría en la provincia de Sancti Spíritus, el cual debe contextualizar herramientas basadas en las Normas Cubanas de Auditoría. El procedimiento aporta herramientas que le permiten al auditor poder identificar y evaluar riesgos inherentes, de control y detección, así como perfeccionar el planeamiento de la auditoría, y demostrar en los hallazgos la efectividad de los riesgos. La aplicación del procedimiento ha de confirmar la calidad en el ejercicio de la auditoría, así como su efectividad.
