La cooperación internacional para el desarrollo agrario municipal

Abstract

Ante la creciente ola de Globalización que azota al mundo, la teoría del Desarrollo Local reaparece como una alternativa para algunos países en vías de desarrollo que agotan sus posibilidades de subsistencia e intentan elevar la gestión de sus gobiernos locales en aras de su propio desarrollo para alcanzar lo que los movimientos sociales en Latinoamérica han llamado “el buen vivir”. En el caso cubano, el Desarrollo Local va más allá de ser una alternativa y se convierte en una real vía para alcanzar impactos positivos en la vida de la sociedad cubana. El objetivo del presente trabajo consistió en establecer las concepciones teórico – metodológicas generales sobre el papel de la Cooperación Internacional en el Desarrollo Local. Se concluye que la Cooperación Internacional es un complemento a los esfuerzos que el país realiza para alcanzar su desarrollo, integrada al Desarrollo Local contribuiría a elevar los impactos económico, social y natural en las localidades.
