El liderazgo de la mujer en el desarrollo tecnológico

Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende describir la producción tecnológica de Cuba en la Oficina de Patentes de los Estados Unidos en un periodo de tiempo de diez años, profundizando en la situación de la mujer en el desarrollo científico técnico nacional con mayor impacto y visibilidad internacional, destacando su desempeño y participación. Para ello la investigación se apoya en todo el referente teórico necesario, consulta las metodologías existentes y los datos disponibles en el periodo de tiempo seleccionado. Proponiendo como objetivo general del trabajo un set de indicadores válidos que permitan representar el comportamiento de la producción de patentes, así como obtener los datos necesarios para conocer dentro de este comportamiento el rol desempeñado por la mujer. Se analizan los sectores tecnológicos más productores y comercializadores de tecnologías en Cuba donde la mujer esta involucrada, o sea, los sectores técnicos más desarrollados y con mayor participación femenina; períodos de tiempo más fértiles; centros de investigación e investigadoras cubanas más productivas en los últimos diez años, etc. Llegando a importantes resultados y conclusiones relacionados con el tema.
