Abstract

La música es, la manifestación artística cubana más difundida en el mundo. Desde principios del siglo XX, la música cubana se expandió fuera de los limites de la Isla, y desde entonces han tenido similar éxito la mayoría de los ritmos que han surgido, estableciendo pautas incluso a nivel internacional. Esta influyó en la personalidad del cubano y desarrolló el proceso evolutivo con más rapidez y fortaleza. La presente investigación científica es un acercamiento a la historia musical del municipio Colombia, el surgimiento de la Orquesta Estrellas del Feeling, agrupación con un carácter estable, la cual durante más de 30 años cultivó la música tradicional cubana en el territorio abarcando una gran variedad de géneros musicales con profesionalidad y creatividad. Se emplearon métodos y técnicas, apoyados en la complementariedad metodológica. Estas herramientas metodológicas permitieron que las informaciones obtenidas contribuyeran a conocer los aspectos esenciales de la situación y más tarde corroborar la idea a defender de la indagación.
