Abstract

En el artículo se hace un estudio de la labor de la Junta de Beneficencia de Holguín, desde su surguimiento hasta 1878, año en que culmina la Guerra de los Diez Años en Cuba contra el colonialismo español, específicamente en el área de la salud, para ver como se manifestó la beneficencia en este campo.
