Retrospectiva histórica del cine cubano: nación e identidad

Abstract

Intentar contar la historia del cine cubano tomando en cuenta solo sus grandes momentos, sería relatar apenas una parte de esa historia, esa a la cual el poder cultural ya nos ha habituado a pensar que es solo la única que vale la pena promover, olvidando el resto. Más que una relación de las mejores películas del cine cubano, proponemos un panorama de lo que ha sido el devenir cubano visto desde el punto de vista de los más disímiles cineastas, sin importar la época en que ejercieron el oficio, pero sin darse cuenta estaban contribuyendo a contar la historia de nuestro país que quedó evidenciado documentalmente.
