Propuesta de programa de educación ambiental para la comunidad El Tejar, del municipio La Palma

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo proponer un Programa de educación ambiental para la comunidad El Tejar perteneciente al municipio La Palma. La propuesta de programa que presentamos se fundamenta en la urgente necesidad de asumir el 'Nuevo Saber Ambiental' pertinente a la sostenibilidad, y elevar la cultura ambiental, a favor de la protección del medio ambiente y del mejoramiento de la calidad de vida. Contiene acciones para la educación ambiental comunitaria que posibilite el conocimiento del medio ambiente en que viven y la participación de los grupos metas seleccionados: líderes, niños y miembros de la comunidad, de modo que garantice que en todas las actividades ciudadanas se tenga presente el medio ambiente y su protección, con vistas a lograr un desarrollo económico y social sostenible y económicamente sustentable.
