Abstract

Desde finales del siglo XX, Cuba ha sido escenario de problemas socioeconómicos y reacomodaciones que proliferaron en el campo político-religioso y cultural el florecimiento de inquietudes y reflexiones sobre la identidad nacional (la nombrada 'crisis cubana de la identidad'), la que induce consigo numerosos cambios sociales que dieron como resultante lo que Annet del Rey Roa y su colega Yalexy Castañeda (2002:93) catalogan como una '…redefinición del espacio y la significación de lo religioso…'.
