Abstract

Hoy, con la implementación de los Lineamientos de la Política Económica y Social del Partido y la Revolución que se lleva a cabo en Cuba; se enfrenta la situación polémica de cómo, desde la doctrina y las legislaciones vigentes, se puede reconocer legalmente la institución del empresario mercantil individual a través de la figura del trabajador por cuenta propia, a la luz de los cambios introducidos en el nuevo modelo económico cubano.
