Abstract

El desarrollo local conocido por algunos como acciones encaminadas a la promoción de desarrollo en una localidad, ha tenido un auge marcado en nuestras comunidades; con impactos cada vez más positivos, que vinculan a toda la comunidad y la sociedad en general. En Cuba, como en el mundo, el sector cooperativo ha tenido su aparición y desarrollo desde hace algunos años, este sector ha mostrado que el trabajo en colectivo, cooperado, puede llegar a satisfacer las necesidades de sus socios, familias, comunidad y sociedad, así como el logro de los objetivos que se marcar. El desarrollo local cooperativo en Cuba, tienen muchas potencialidades, las cuales se centran en la esencia misma de la empresa cooperativa, que con el objetivo de cumplir sus fines económicos y sociales, tiene un gran impacto en el desarrollo de la comunidad.
