Estrategia educativa para disminuir el embarazo en la adolescencia, en el área de salud Taguasco, 2008-2012

Abstract

Se realiza un estudio pre experimental al desarrollar una Estrategia Educativa de Información, Educación y Comunicación para contribuir a aumentar los conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de los/as adolescentes, sobre embarazo en la adolescencia del Área de Salud Taguasco. La investigación se desarrollará durante un quinquenio que comprende los años de 2008 al 2012, la población la constituirá la totalidad de adolescentes de dicha Área y se sustentará en una muestra constituida por los estudiantes de la Enseñanza Media y Media Superior en el territorio. Los resultados de un diagnóstico realizado demuestran carencias cognoscitivas sobre los riesgos del embarazo en la adolescencia, el uso de métodos anticonceptivos, así como, las complicaciones del aborto. Por ello el objetivo de este trabajo es Mejorar el conocimiento sobre riesgos del embarazo en la adolescencia, mediante una Estrategia Educativa y de esa forma contribuir a la disminución de la incidencia del mismo en el Área de Salud antes mencionada. Durante el desarrollo de la investigación se aplicarán la observación y la encuesta fundamentalmente que permitirán valorar la situación real del Área de Salud Taguasco, en cuanto al embarazo en la adolescencia.
