Abstract

La Intervención Psicológica en sordos e hipoacúsicos constituye una alternativa de tratamiento dirigida a la búsqueda de la estabilidad emocional de menores con Sordos e Hipoacúsicos, dado lo cual se realizó un estudio cuasiexperimental con el objetivo de Evaluar la efectividad de una Estrategia de Intervención Psicológica como una vía para la corrección y/o compensación de los desajustes emocionales en este tipo de menores. Para la obtención de la información se utilizó: el análisis de documentos, la entrevista, la observación y las pruebas psicológicas. Los principales resultados estuvieron dados por el interés y satisfacción mostrados por los menores ante el método de intervención psicológica lográndose integración al grupo y una comunicación adecuada, además de que el método empleado resultó eficaz, novedoso y práctico y permitió la activación de las potencialidades de la personalidad de estos menores.
