Abstract

En Cuba, desde finales del siglo XX se desarrolla el proyecto vinculado con el ahorro de energía en las diferentes educaciones, es el denominado PAEME (Programa de Ahorro de Energía del Ministerio de Educación). Hoy se tiene una comprensión clara de que la solución completa de los actuales problemas medioambientales y energéticos se abordaron primeramente desde la perspectiva tecnológica, sin embargo, la toma de conciencia de la complejidad del problema ha hecho que en el presente siglo no se vislumbre una solución sustentable sin la educación de las grandes masas sobre dichas problemáticas y sus alternativas de solución.
