Los Recicladores: una mirada por mundo, como un medio para la preservación del medio ambiente

Abstract

Tras la creación de iniciativas tales como la de reciclaje incluyente, la labor del reciclador o recolector ha comenzado a ser visibilizada en América Latina. Muy a pesar de esto, sus actividades siguen siendo estigmatizadas por nuestra sociedad. Su imagen ante la comunidad no es del todo favorable y no se tiene en consideración de la gran contribución que están generando a la huella ecológica que muchos hemos estado dejando. Países latinoamericanos han avanzado en políticas para la formalización de la población recicladora, con el fin de garantizarles su derecho al trabajo y así mismo resaltar la importancia de su labor para la preservación del medio ambiente. En tal virtud, mediante el siguiente, se observa cómo ha sido el avance de las políticas públicas para el reconocimiento de los recicladores en Latinoamérica y cuál ha sido el aporte de estos actores en la cultura del reciclaje.
