La participación ciudadana y planificación en el contexto de la estrategia pública para el desarrollo municipal

Abstract

La participación como concepto y proceso en el marco de planificación del desarrollo, constituye un elemento aceptado en los últimos años universalmente. El aprovechamiento de los canales de participación ciudadana representa un punto de partida para activar las potencialidades de los municipios, favoreciendo la capacidad de autogestión y planificación desde la base, que articulen y enriquezcan los procesos de gestión pública municipal. Sin embargo, en la práctica se carece del análisis que demuestre la relación causal entre participación y planificación del desarrollo municipal de modo. Por ello en el presente artículo, se expone el resultado confirmatorio de la influencia del factor participación ciudadana en el proceso de planificación del desarrollo, mediante un modelo de regresión lineal.
