Amecameca: políticas públicas y percepciones sociales

Abstract

Este artículo se basa en las percepciones sociales de la población de Amecameca, Estado de México, en torno a la política turística, la política de protección civil y los servicios públicos en general, así como la consideración identitaria. Todo ello a través de un estudio de opinión mediante la aplicación de una encuesta sobre dichos temas en el año 2014 en esta población. ¿Qué piensa y siente la ciudadanía sobre su lugar de origen en general y de residencia en todos los casos? Y ¿Cómo valora las políticas públicas del gobierno municipal? Como resultados principales se encontró que la mayor parte de la población valora y aprecia su lugar de residencia, entre otras cosas parece favorable al turismo y lo juzga como benéfico, y por otra parte, la opinión en torno a los servicios púbicos es en general regular para la mayoría de ellos, mientras la política de protección civil presenta algunos problemas y no es considerada satisfactoria del todo.
