Evaluación De Indicadores Agregados Ambientales En La Producción De Huevos

Abstract

El proceso de reconversión tecnológica que se acomete con diversos programas para el fortalecimiento de la política agropecuaria ratifica la necesidad de diseñar sistemas de producción con bajos consumos material y energéticos sin dañar el ambiente, conservando los recursos naturales y a su vez rentables para las producciones, con proyectos dirigidos al diseño de sistemas agroecológicos, pero se adolece de mecanismos de evaluación que permitan el análisis desde el punto de vista ecológico y socioeconómico. La utilización de los indicadores agregados ambientales como el ciclo de vida del producto y la huella ecológica, sirven para ver el comportamiento de las producciones de huevos de la Empresa Avícola de Cienfuegos y determinar cuales serían las mejoras agroecológicas que permitirían optimizar la ecoeficiencia de estos indicadores para crear alianzas institucionales que faciliten un proceso participativo y autóctono de desarrollo y el fomentar políticas agrarias que favorezcan el desarrollo agrícola sustentable.
