La Globalización Y Las Microfinanzas En El Sur De México: ¿Caminando Hacia Un Desarrollo Sostenible?

Abstract

Para entender el medio en donde existen las pequeñas y micro empresas, hay que conocer un poco sobre la historia de las empresas y la privatización en México, la cual explica mucho de lo que encontramos hoy en día. México se cuenta entre los primeros ejemplos de los impactos provocados por los ajustes estructurales en América Latina. Aunque las políticas de ajuste estructural (PAEs) empezaron en la década de 1980, la deuda no es nueva para México. Entre las décadas de 1940 y 1970 México empezó su gran acumulación de deuda para promover la industrialización del país, y a partir de 1989 comienza en este país la venta de grandes empresas paraestatales (privatización).
