Análisis Comparativo De La Huella Ecológica De Dos Empresas Del Sector Pesquero Gallego

Abstract

La Huella Ecológica (HE) es un indicador de sostenibilidad que ha alcanzado una notable difusión en los últimos años. Si bien ha sido mayoritariamente aplicado a poblaciones y/o economías, se han desarrollado diferentes metodologías que permiten su aplicación a empresas y, en general, organizaciones. En este artículo describimos los fundamentos, objetivos y principales usos de la HE, destacando las particularidades de la metodología en el caso de organizaciones. Además aplicamos el indicador a dos empresas pesqueras de Galicia.
