Las PyMEs y el acceso al crédito

Abstract

encontramos que las condiciones de acceso al crédito para las Pymes son poco competitivas internacionalmente en todos los países de la región. La oferta de crédito a Pymes se caracteriza por altas tasas (el doble que para las grandes empresas), plazos cortos y exigencias elevadas de garantías. La severidad de estas condiciones suele justificarse por la morosidad del sector Pymes, que es mayor que la de las grandes empresas. Sin embargo, la percepción de riesgo de la banca es aún mayor a la que podría justificarse por la morosidad del sector. Todo ello supone un freno a la inversión de las empresas y por lo tanto un freno al crecimiento económico, del empleo y el bienestar en general.
