Abstract

La idea de que los años setenta y ochenta habían estado preñado de circunstancias de todo tipo y forma, llevaron a Eric Hosbawn, en diversos momentos a valorarlos como inestables y críticos. Acontecimientos económicos, sociales, políticos e incluso culturales anunciaban el surgimiento de una nueva etapa histórica. La década de los años setenta marcaron, por así decirlo, un espacio temporal lleno de incertidumbres y redefiniciones a escala global, la crisis energética de 1973-1975 lo corrobora.
