Japón Y Asia, Cincuenta Años Después Del Fin De La Guerra Del Pacífico

Abstract

Las contradicciones y guerras en el pacífico tienen gran connotación para los países asiáticos, pero Japón es uno de los protagonistas en este contexto. Las tropas japonesas, por su lado, tampoco buscaron en ningún momento provocar un cambio social ni convulsiones radicales en la sociedad. Al analizar la experiencia nipona, los especialistas se debaten entre las Tesis de la Continuidad o del Cambio. Una proporción mayor prefiere afirmar que los años de la Guerra del Pacífico fueron simplemente un paréntesis, enfatizando las semejanzas entre las sociedades pre y post-ocupación japonesa y uno de los ejemplos puede ser la mentalidad de clientelismo y el compadrazgo en la sociedad filipina.
