El fin de una era política en Japón. Desafíos del nuevo Gobierno

Abstract

Las últimas elecciones legislativas en Japón pusieron fin a una etapa de dominio absoluto del Partido Liberal Democrático (PLD). La histórica victoria del Partido Democrático de Japón (PDJ), genera esperanzas para el comienzo de una nueva y anhelada era política, donde se dé solución a la crisis política, social y económica, que lo acecha desde hace casi dos décadas. Sin embargo, muchos se preguntan si el nuevo Gobierno tendrá la capacidad para dar cumplimiento a esos objetivos, sobre todo si se tiene en cuenta los fracasados intentos de cambio de régimen en años anteriores.
