El carácter singular de Japón: algunos criterios e interpretaciones

Abstract

Los postulados relativos al carácter paradigmático de la experiencia de desarrollo de Japón están estrechamente conectados al criterio de su singularidad como país, condición que estaría expresada según algunos en una evolución histórica que ejemplifica y recrea su unicidad y excepcionalidad. Siguiendo la lógica de esta perspectiva, asumida desde dentro y fuera del archipiélago, es posible reconocer que el señalado vínculo entre éxito y singularidad arranca de varios factores donde converge un discurso científico empeñado en certificar -desde ópticas diferentes y con diferentes intenciones- la validez de este pronunciamiento.
