Aproximações na fronteira e a formação do espaço fronteiriço entre o Chuí Brasil e Chuy Uruguay

Abstract

O presente artigo 16 propõe discutir a formação histórica do espaço fronteiriço entre os países do Brasil (BR) e Uruguay (UY), analisando conceitos teóricos sobre a fronteira e as relevantes possibilidades de aproximação entre ambos os países. Atribui importante destaque à formação e constituição da urbe entre os municípios do Chuí (BR) e Chuy (UY) que possuem similitudes nos aspectos culturais, econômicos e sociais. Além disso, propõe analisar a formação e trabalhar conceitos sobre fronteira, discutindo com os autores Homi Bhabha (1998), Benedict Anderson (2008), José Mateo (2001), Nelson Boeira & Tau Golin (2006) e Ana Luiza Setti Reckziegel (2015).
