Necesidad del estudio de los factores determinantes de la supervivencia de los trabajadores por cuenta propia en Cuba

Abstract

Como resultado de la actualización del modelo económico cubano, en Cuba se ha observado un incremento significativo del número de emprendedores que inician actividades en el sector no estatal, agrupados principalmente bajo la forma de trabajadores por cuenta propia. Este renglón de la economía favorece el empleo y el crecimiento socioeconómico. Sin embargo, sus altos índices de salida del mercado sobre todo en sus primeros años de actividad, demuestran la existencia de un grupo de factores que inciden y limitan su supervivencia. Esta investigación persigue como objetivo fundamentar la necesidad de potenciar el estudio de los factores que inciden en la supervivencia de los trabajadores por cuenta propia en Cuba como vía para favorecer su éxito.
