La importancia de implementar un manual de procesos de seguridad industrial y salud ocupacional en las empresas del Ecuador

Abstract

La seguridad y la protección social es un compromiso que debe ser adquirido tanto por el Gobierno como también por empleadores y trabajadores. Es por eso que es de vital importancia mantener un ambiente laboral sano en donde prevalezcan los derechos de los trabajadores como tales, resguardando y procurando siempre mantener como prioridad la seguridad y la integridad física de los trabajadores. El Ecuador cuenta con más de 60 documentos legales entre convenios internacionales, leyes, reglamentos y normativa referente a la seguridad y salud ocupacional. Entre todos esos documentos, se establecen lineamientos y requerimientos técnicos respecto a los cuales se deben dar cumplimiento por todas las organizaciones, empresas e instituciones que ofertan productos o dan prestación de servicios.
