Las finanzas y la administración de operaciones como herramienta de análisis para la toma de decisiones gerenciales

Abstract

El análisis financiero nos ayuda a vigilar que la empresa tenga una buena liquidez, incluso en sus épocas más prosperas ya que las disponibilidades económicas de una empresa pueden ser fácilmente absorbidas por una producción en expansión dando lugar a restricciones, de cuando se puede y cuando no dar crédito o plazos de pago a los clientes porque no hay suficientes recursos financieros. Además es probable que una situación de aparente comodidad incite a hacer nuevas adquisiciones. Es necesario recalcar sobre las necesidades financieras de datos adecuados y oportunos, por tanto el nivel directivo debe seguir asiduamente los acontecimientos de la venta, producción, cobranzas, entre otros; tratando de prever su desarrollo y sus efectos sobre la situación financiera.
