Las finanzas populares y solidarias como alternativa ante la banca tradicional excluyente

Abstract

El objeto de estudio, desde el ángulo de la Economía Política, de la investigación que se presenta, es la concepción de las Finanzas Populares y Solidarias, como alternativa ante el microcrédito y las microfinanzas, desde las trasformaciones revolucionarias del Ecuador. En sus fundamentos se encuentra el análisis marxista de la producción mercantil y las funciones del dinero para desarrollar instrumentos financieros crediticios para los sectores pobres y vulnerables de la sociedad capitalista; así como las vías de transición a formas comunitarias para integrar una Economía Popular con finanzas comunitarias solidarias que se contraponga a la lógica privada y fomente un desarrollo local sostenible y con equidad.
