Análise do grau de civismo em Belém, Pará

Abstract

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar os resultados de uma pesquisa piloto realizada na cidade de Belém, Pará, Brasil, para responder à seguinte questão-problema: o grau cívico da capital paraense varia conforme a localidade, a faixa de renda e a escolaridade de seus habitantes? Para a seleção da amostra foram considerados cinco Distritos Administrativos de Belém, nos quais se aplicaram questionários fechados para compor um índice de civismo. Os dados foram tratados por meio de ferramentas da estatística descritiva e inferencial e do software IBM SPSS- Statistical 23. Foram aplicados 240 questionários e a pesquisa constatou que o Distrito do Bengui (DABEN) apresentou um alto grau de civismo quando comparado aos demais, que apresentaram médio grau cívico. Tal resultado pode ser entendido, seja pelos indicadores socioeconômicos, seja pelas dimensões política, institucional, histórica e cultural.
