Auditoría ambiental en la empresa de productos lácteos Guantánamo

Abstract

La auditoría ambiental se emplea para verificar el uso, administración, protección, preservación del medio ambiente y de los recursos naturales, con el propósito de evaluar el cumplimiento de las normas y principios que rigen su control y cuando proceda, cuantificar el impacto por el deterioro ocasionado o que pueda producirse. Las regulaciones ambientales en Cuba protegen el medio ambiente y los recursos naturales, reconocen su estrecha vinculación con el desarrollo económico y social sostenible para hacer más racional la vida humana y asegurar la supervivencia, el bienestar y la seguridad de las generaciones actuales y futuras. En los últimos años la Empresa Productos Lácteos Guantánamo ha presentado problemas en su gestión ambiental, causados por la obsolescencia de los equipos, las faltas de mantenimientos y reparaciones oportunas, inadecuados tratamientos a los residuos e indebida clasificación de los desechos sólidos, a esto se suman las constantes emisiones de ruidos.
