Abstract

La investigación se realizó con el propósito de evaluar los indicadores de explotación de almacenes, en la ciudad de Ibarra, Ecuador. Para esto, se elige el procedimiento diseñado por (Narvaez J. E., 2017). El diagnóstico inicial (Yakcleem Montero Santos, 2016) establece que el uso del área, la altura y el volumen de la tienda no estaban dentro de los rangos específicos para alcanzar un índice de eficiencia óptimo. Por lo tanto, se decidió aplicar el procedimiento antes mencionado para hacer una propuesta de mejora a la bodega en estudio. Inicialmente se comienza con el análisis ABC de los inventarios, luego realiza la distribución en planta a través del software Corelap 1.0 y el análisis del método operativo (Torres, 2013) para el nuevo diseño del layot, lo que permitirá elevar el nivel tecnológico del almacén.
