Abstract

El presente documento plantea una breve exploración del sistema tributario ecuatoriano, recapitulando su historia y las últimas reformas tributarias que han coadyuvado a un cambio de visión en el manejo de la política fiscal, con el firme objetivo de la cultura tributaria del país se fortalezca y valore, y así, promover la prestación de servicios públicos como salud, educación, vivienda, seguridad social, obras de riego, electrificación, carreteras, comunicaciones, etc., y potenciar las inversiones estatales, asegurando impuestos justos que permitan la redistribución de la riqueza.
