Procesos de auditoria y los hechos posteriores en las organizaciones

Abstract

Los hechos posteriores representan situaciones que se dan después de la fecha del balance y que afectan monetaria y significativamente los valores reflejados en las cuentas contables, esta investigación se ha realizado a través de una investigación bibliográfica que revela el patrón de guía de los hechos posteriores que se presentan en las empresas y que son objeto del proceso de auditoría; el objetivo del trabajo es conocer el tratamiento que le dan las empresas a los hechos posteriores apegándose a la normativa legal vigente para el efecto; se aplicó una metodología basada en una encuesta a los auditores internos y a los responsables de contabilidad de un total de cincuenta y cuatro empresas que forman parte de la investigación, llegando a la conclusión de que estos afectan de manera directa los valores de las cuentas contables reportados en los estados financieros de las entidades y que se debe tratar con sumo cuidado al momento de tomar decisiones soportadas en hechos futuros.
