Las salvaguardias y su impacto en la liquidez y rentabilidad de las empresas

Abstract

Las salvaguardias fueron medidas económicas temporales tomadas por el gobierno basado en tres puntos: Balanza comercial, disminución del precio del petróleo y apreciación del dólar. Ecuador es un país dolarizado y al no tener una moneda propia, su salida producto de las importaciones se ve afectado en la liquidez al interior del país. Por otra parte, también es un país que depende del producto primario que es el petróleo y que al afectar el precio hacia abajo disminuyen las divisas de ingreso al país o viceversa, siendo de gran impacto desde el segundo semestre del 2014 la baja del precio, ocasionó reducción de ingresos al país. El dólar sigue siendo una moneda fuerte, pero al tener apreciación las importaciones se encarecen y se destinan más divisas al exterior, que de lo que exporta. Empresas como Oselda tuvo que adaptarse a las medidas económicas, lo cual repercutió en sus resultados, y en el siguiente trabajo de investigación se evidencia los efectos en la liquidez y rentabilidad.
