Abstract

Los indicadores son una herramienta estadística importante al momento de evaluar aspectos de competencia entre empresas, países, o para simplemente medir diversos factores que inciden en aspectos particulares. La provincia de Santa Elena tiene su cantón capital del mismo nombre la cual es relativamente nueva, su juventud como provincia no permite su real desarrollo tanto para sus habitantes como para los turistas que visitan sus balnearios. La finalidad de los indicadores es mostrar realmente las condiciones en las que se encuentra el cantón y su sociedad para una vez identificadas las falencias usar los correctivos necesarios que permitan colocar a la provincia en competencia con otras provincias hermanas.
