Abstract

Esta investigación se refiere a la adaptación a través de la tecnología utilizando software libre e interfaz basado en web. Contempla un conjunto de herramientas que comprende desde el ingreso de la historia clínica, separación de la cita hasta la prescripción médica y su seguimiento respectivo, mejorando la logística y reducción de espacios en los consultorios. El Objetivo es resolver las dificultades que tienen los doctores al momento de acceder, consultar y mantener las historias clínicas de sus pacientes en espacios físicos, como una solución a problemas antes citados, la empresa Targetsoft S.A. (es una compañía que nace de una iniciativa de emprendimiento, de tres jóvenes ecuatorianos en búsqueda de soluciones tecnológicas con aplicaciones a las tecnologías web y software libre, combinando destrezas y conocimientos en el área de negocios tenológicos, desarrollo software, gestión de calidad, marketing y negocios). Targetsoft S.A. ha desarrollado la nueva generación EMR (Electronic Medical Records/ Registro médico electrónico), que es un sistema informativo de registro médico creado para brindar atención en hospitales y los consultorios médicos llamado Doctor Web 2.0.
