Abstract

La presente investigación se realizó en la planta de producción de la empresa “BAYTEX INC. CIA. LTDA†, la cual se dedica a la fabricación de medias. El estudio se llevó a cabo en la línea de producción de medias deportivas. La investigación parte con la recopilación de la información bibliográfica necesaria para sustentar las bases teóricas y científicas referentes a las herramientas de estudio del trabajo. Esto permitió tener una visión más clara de conceptos relacionados al estudio de tiempos para de esta manera poder ejecutar la parte práctica de la investigación.Tras haber realizado la investigación bibliográfica se procedió a realizar un análisis de la situación inicial, es decir, se realizó el levantamiento del proceso productivo a fin de obtener un enfoque más claro de las actividades que se ejecutan dentro de la organización. Se realizó un estudio de tiempos en los diferentes subprocesos para determinar qué factores pueden ser mejorados a través de un método propuesto de trabajo.Posteriormente se plantea un método propuesto que permite obtener un incremento de la productividad en el proceso productivo de la empresa.
