La responsabilidad social como eje controlador de los impactos generados por el turismo

Abstract

En el Ecuador la actividad turística crece a pasos acelerados, como país se busca posicionarse como un destino turístico, por su riqueza natural que se evidencia por su exuberante biodiversidad a través de sus cuatro mundos, y dentro de estos mismos la diversidad y enriquecedor patrimonio cultural, estas actividades se desarrollan sin tomar en cuenta los impactos ambientales positivos o negativos de la actividad frente a los elementos del sistema turístico. Este estudio pretende mediante un análisis documental, la revisión de las principales definiciones de la responsabilidad social y la percepción de las siete materias fundamentales, para poder describir e identificar cuáles son los indicadores más relevantes a la hora planificar y desarrollar proyectos turísticos.
