La situación de las empresas exportadoras del sector bananero frente al cambio de la matriz productiva

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es explorar la situación del sector bananero frente al cambio de la Matriz Productiva después del año 2014. La descripción del sector se la realizó mediante entrevistas a diez empresas exportadoras del sector bananero seleccionadas por el método de muestreo por conveniencia. Como resultado se obtuvo la situación de las empresas exportadoras del sector estudiado, mercados destino de las exportaciones, necesidades de inversión, características diferenciadoras de los productos, entre otras variables. Se puede concluir que el ingreso de este sector a la agenda del Cambio de la Matriz Productiva es positivo, puesto que en las entrevistas se obtuvieron algunas propuestas relacionadas a las barreras de ingreso, incentivos tributarios, nuevos mercados, que el Gobierno Nacional plantea resolverlas a través de una nueva matriz productiva.
