Perfil de usuários das academias de ginástica de ponta Grossa-PR/Brasil: motivos para escolha e mudança de estabelecimento

Abstract

O estudo tem como objetivo identificar o perfil de usuários das academias de ginástica de Ponta Grossa-PR/Brasil, quanto aos motivos para escolha e mudança de estabelecimento. De acordo com o levantamento no site do Conselho Federal de Educação Física (CONFEF), a cidade de Ponta Grossa no Paraná/Brasil possui 27 academias de ginástica, distribuídas pelas principais regiões e bairros da cidade, das quais foram escolhidas sete (07), divididas nas regiões da cidade que possuíam o maior número de academias. Participaram da amostra 130 clientes que responderam a um questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas. As análises revelam como fatores determinantes para a escolha e mudança de academia a localização, a infraestrutura e o valor da mensalidade, sendo a relação entre custo e benefício o fator central.
