Relación conceptual del liderazgo, estrategia y entorno sobre la competitividad empresarial

Abstract

Se pretende establecer conceptualmente la relación del liderazgo, la estrategia y el entorno sobre la competitividad empresarial; se considera la definición de competitividad empresarial y algunas formas de determinarla; el liderazgo, con sus respectivas dimensiones transformacional y transaccional; se revisa también los componentes del entorno competitivo del modelo de Porter; y finalmente se examina la conceptualización de estrategia de Miles y Snow, con sus respectivos tipos de estrategias. Se concluye que tanto el liderazgo como el entorno son factores relacionados con la competitividad empresarial de forma indirecta, mientras que la estrategia es el factor más crítico, puesto que además de ser el catalizador de los otros dos factores analizados, su selección y ejecución adecuada determinará la consolidación o no de la empresa.
