Aplicación de las Normas Internacionales de Contabilidad NIC 41 en camaroneras en el Ecuador

Abstract

La presente investigación busca despejar las dudas existentes en los profesionales de la contabilidad y auditoría acerca del tratamiento de los activos biológicos en las empresas camaroneras en Ecuador. Se realiza un breve resumen sobre el manejo de los productos considerados como parte del inventario y su estimación de acuerdo a la NIC 41, así mismo se expondrán las dificultades que pueden existir en el proceso de valoración de los activos biológicos. La industria camaronera es un sector que en el Ecuador es muy importante tanto para el abastecimiento local como internacional, gozando de dos tipos de producción, con lo cual la contabilidad ayuda en cuanto a su control y a la valorización del negocio en caso que un inversionista desee incorporar capital dentro de la empresa.
